CDI/CHI Legal Team Interpreting

With

Robin Shannon

This workshop provides participants with role-play opportunities and hands-up practice on jury instruction, plea litany, simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, and how to work well with both Deaf and hearing team interpreters. Participants will leave the workshop with an increased level of understanding of team interpreting. They will also feel more comfortable working with CDI/CHIs thus increasing their confidence level and their accuracy of the team’s interpretation

Robin S. Shannon received his BA in ASL in 2007 and his MA in Interpretation in 2009 from Gallaudet University.
