This workshop provides a framework for working certified interpreters to explore their roles and responsibilities in medical settings. Key topics include an examination of the Deaf patient's perspective, HIPAA regulations, personal and professional boundaries, self care, and an overview of the “Triangle Team” approach to interpreting.
