EIPA Written Assessment Overview & Preparation

Paul Bert, CDHL, will review the EIPA Written Test developed by the Diagnostic Center at Boys Town National Research Hospital.  He will talk about the written exam and the tenets upon which the test is based.  He will also share study materials and familiarize the participants with the website.  The test consists of 177 questions and takes approximately one and a half to three hours to complete.  Under the Washington State's new educational interpreter requirements, passage of the EIPA Written Test will be required for all interpreters by 2016.

This workshop is a fundraiser for the Edmonds-Woodway H.S. Deaf Academic Bowl Team who will be travelling to Gaulladet for the national competition.
