Ticketing Tiers

Thank you for joining us at ReConnect: Community Power 2025, a joint conference between WSAD and WSRID! In an effort to provide access for as many of our members as possible across the communities we serve, we are following a tiered equity-oriented ticketing model this year. Choose the tier that best fits your needs and situation. All tiers provide identical access levels to the full weekend of programming, and no proof of need is necessary. Each tier’s intention is described below. If you need more information to inform your decision you may benefit from consulting the DSHS Median Income Chart below.

Ticket Tiers:

Conference Tiers

• General — $150  (Description)
• Patron — $225  (Description)
• Scholarship — $75  (Description)
• Non-Member Conference — $250  (Description)

Entertainment Only (Friday Night)

• Member — $40  (Description)
• Non-Member — $75  (Description)

WSAD Business Meeting ONLY 

• Not Attending the Conference — FREE, Lunch Banquet Not Included

General Registration: If everyone who attends is able to pay this price, WSRID/WSAD expect to cover the costs of the conference. We hope you will choose this tier if you are:

— a WSAD and/or WSRID member
— earn an average family income near the median in WA
— AND are not experiencing unusual financial hardship

Patron Registration: This price helps to support the conference and our community by gifting some funds to support tickets for those who cannot comfortably afford our general tier. We hope you will choose this tier if you are:

— a WSAD and/or WSRID member
— earn a comfortable family income above the median in WA
— AND you wish to support others attending the conference who may experience financial barriers OR contribute to the WSRID scholarship fund

* Any funds received from this registration tier in excess of conference scholarship needs will be attributed to the WSRID testing scholarship fund which supports emerging interpreters in accessing certification exams!

Scholarship Registration: This tier supports the conference by ensuring that a greater diversity and number of our community members are present! We hope you will choose this price if you are:

— WSRID and/or WSAD member
— earn an average income below the median in WA
— AND/OR the general ticket price is a genuine barrier to your attendance

Non-Member Registration: This tier is for community members who are not a member of WSAD or WSRID. You can access the member price options by joining one or both organizations. There is no deadline to join in order to receive the member discount. Links to membership pages for each organization are below:

Entertainment Only - Member: This is a ticket to Friday Night’s entertainment for members. Does not include any other conference events

Entertainment Only - Non-member: Ticket to Friday Night’s entertainment for non-members. Does not include any other conference events.

WSAD Business Meeting (only): WSAD’s annual business meeting is being held concurrent with the conference. All other ticket tiers include this meeting for WSAD members. However, If you are a member of WSAD and do not wish to attend the conference or related events–the lunch banquet, Friday evening’s entertainment, keynote speakers–you have a right to attend your annual business meeting without cost. This registration informs WSAD of your attendance, but does not include other conference events.

Additional Donation: If you would like to make a donation of a different amount than the patron tier, any amount is welcome! Donations can be made on our Sponsorship page and your name can be recognized in the program as a sponsor if you choose! Donations beyond your ticket price help support both WSAD and WSRID in their operations and activities. WSRID funds in excess of the conference costs for 2025 will be put toward increasing the number of testing scholarships we are able to offer to our pre-certified WSRID members.
